Katherine was born and raised in Kingston, and from a young age developed a passion for theater and the fine arts. She participated in many local productions and also worked as theater camp supervisor and theater technician during high school. Katherine completed her Bachelor of Arts (Honors) at York University, where she started to delve into the world of education. She taught Grade 1 Drama at Young People’s Theater, and was a support staff member at Taddle Creek Montessori School, where she created and executed the Casa March Break Theater Camp.
Katherine returned to Kingston to study for her Bachelor of Education at Queen’s University, which she completed in August 2016. She has also spent time tutoring math and creating theater workshops for Grade 9 and 10 students. During her Bachelor of Education, Katherine also developed the teacher study guide for 4th Line Theater’s touring show “Wounded Soldiers.”
Katherine enjoys playing volleyball, canoeing, reading, knitting, and going for long walks in nature. She loves dogs, chocolate, and going on adventures with her family.
